Happy 1st "Perf" Day Sweet Logan!

It's been one year today that our precious girl was welcomed to heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We know it's been her most amazing year, and a year of seeing God's faithfulness in our lives. Daniel was talking with Tori this morning asking her what we should call this day as we celebrate Logan's homegoing! They came up with "Perfect Day" for Logan that is, so we shortened it to "Perf"Day! It has been an emotional day of course, but we do not cry without hope. Hope is really an amazing thing, and as hard as this year has been we have clung to the hope of heaven, and the promises God has blessed us with. Below are three slide shows I put together of our sweet girl. Pretty much the last 2 years of her life (that we had a digital camera) I had a hard time choosing pictures so I just did as many as I could. It's been a good day of remembering and enjoying family. We are so thankful for the many calls and cards we have received. God is so faithful to comfort us with the Body of Christ. We hope you enjoy the pictures. Oh, how we miss that precious girl, and long for the day when we will see her again!

Sweet Cindy and Dan,
Your Logan is perfect and is in heaven with Jesus. No pain, no hurting, no tears and no transfusions. What a comfort and hope that is to know you'll be with her again one day in heaven. I know your heart hurts as you miss her now. That's a mommy and daddy's love. Logan's laugh was contagious and her smile would brighten any room. We love you. Thank you for sharing your little girl with us. We cherish the memories.
Love, Todd, Ashley, Gavin, Lexi and Reese

Dan and Cindy--I've been remembering you and your family in prayer these past few days. I hardly know you, but your life and Logan's life have touched mine. There was so much life in that little girl of yours. How glorious to think that is with our heavenly Father now. Thank you for sharing the pictures, too. With love and prayer, Jessica Hoch from PBC

Cindy, I enjoyed seeing your pictures so much! As you could see on my blog, I only had a few, so it really was fun to be able to see her again in pictures and remember her captivating smile and her sweet personality. What a blessed life she had to live with your family. We love you and we have been praying for you, and praising God for Logan all week!

Dear Dan and Cindy,

It's funny how you can laugh and cry at the same time while looking at a single set of pictures. It's obvious how sweet the time was that you shared with Logan here on Earth. And it's convicting, encouraging and exciting to think of the Waldeck family being reunited one day. :)

We are praying for you guys and thank you for being vulnerable, yet not without hope, as you remember sweet, beautiful, perfect Logan!

With much love,
~the Garates

Dear Dan and Cindy,
thank you for sharing your joy and hope with us. We did not have the pleasure of knowing Logan while she was on this side of Heaven, but we know from Dan, and from your writings and photos, that she was indeed a princess as well as a little pixie! We were praying for you through last week and continue to pray for you. What a blessing it must be to know that the words of "I Can Only Imagine" and "Praise You in the Storm" are founded on the truth of God our Heavenly Father's faithfulness and grace. May you continue you to experience Him each day as you love and care for each other and your two earthly princesses.
